Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 21, 2026

Welcome to CronGuard ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our websites, APIs, notification services, and monitoring tools (collectively, the "Services"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Account and Registration

To access features of the Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited actions include:
  • Monitoring targets you do not own or have permission to monitor.
  • Performing load testing or DDoS attacks via our monitoring agents.
  • Using the Services for illegal activities or to distribute malware.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or breach the security of the Services.

3. Monitoring & Notifications

CronGuard monitors your cron jobs and uptime. While we strive for high reliability:
  • No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that notifications (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram) will be delivered instantly or at all, as delivery relies on third-party carriers and networks.
  • False Positives: Networking issues may cause false positives. You acknowledge that we are not liable for any damages caused by missed alerts or false alarms.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features require a paid subscription.
  • Billing: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled using the dashboard.
  • Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. Contact support for assistance.
  • Rate Limits: Different plans have different limits on monitors, check intervals, and notification credits.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CronGuard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
